teep... why the hell not????

WORDS :)
tet- Vietnamese New Year celebration
byte- typically eight adjacent bits as process by a computer (I don't know why were kwestioning this... "it was 3am" is my best
defense)
tye- a knot or tie. Used in mining to define a trough for washing ores, nautical term to describe a chain or rope which passes through a mast piece.
sere- to parch, desiccate, or wizen (once again, the kwestion here was based on being sleepy and full of boggle uncertainties)
hiver- it's slightly unclear... there's not a clear definition listed, but it is listed under the "related forms" in the 'hive' entry.
beek- to bask, or warm in the sunshine or fireplace. also applies to wood, the act of seasoning by exposure to heat.
teek- it's a type of wood (I KNEW IT)
soe- a large wooden cask for holding water
soke- a district over which local jurisdiction was exercised in Old English Law
taw(s)- to shoot a marble (v. trans.), also as a noun meaning a fancy shooting marble
wont- custom or habit "he was wont to rise at dawn" (WOOT)
skite- a kwick, offhanded blow or strike. a joke or prank (no way... what a great word)
rite- a ceremonial act (once again... plagued by exhaustion, this was kwestioned)

NO DICE:
dyet- attempted with "alternate spelling of diet"
tate- looks like it's only a proper noun
rees- adding an 's' does not make it plural... it's a verb but the addition of the 's' does not make it transitive.
reer, reers, reered- all not words. not even close.
yeek- attempted with "yeek, a mouse". I'm torn on this one... mostly because i think that exclamations should be spelled as creatively as possible. for the record... i would count this if it were played again.
peet- acronym. attempted as an alternate spelling for 'peat'
teep- attempted as an alternate spelling for 'teap' which, as we've recently learned, is also not a word
sewar- alt. spelling for 'sewer'
tik- I don't think there was even ant attempted justification.

SIDENOTE:
'quat' was used and defended against in the most recent boggle game i've played.
